Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Part-time/Independent Contractor

Compensation: $15/hour

Work Hours: Includes Nights and Weekends

Position Overview

Lost Tribe is currently seeking multiple enthusiastic and detail oriented customer satisfaction coordinators to be our “virtual help desk”, fielding emails and calls about our Minecraft and other programs, which may be in progress or beginning shortly. The coordinator will field communications from or reach out to local community organizations as well as individual registrants to resolve concerns. They must be well organized, customer service oriented and have extensive technical knowledge of Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition for computers, phones, and tablets. They will be categorized as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients through zoom meetings to ensure server connectivity and readiness for programs.
  • Assist clients with technical support or general customer service needs.
  • Accurate note-taking in CRM for all support calls.
  • Weekly check-ins and as-needed discussions with your supervisor, Minecraft, Gaming and Engagement teams.
  • Collaborating with management staff to identify opportunities for process improvements, new communities to connect with, recommend system modifications and provide feedback from.
  • Participate in and add to the positive culture and environment.
  • Flexible work hours, primarily evenings and weekends; schedule adjusts weekly.

Qualifications:

  • At least 18+ years old
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Knowledge and experience with Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, Esports/Gaming, Zoom and Google Meet
  • Enthusiastic and engaging 
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning about Jewish Culture and Values
  • Previous experience in customer service a plus

Minecraft Instructor

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Part-time/Independent Contractor

Compensation: $13/hour

Position Overview

Lost Tribe is currently searching for an enthusiastic instructor to facilitate Jewish education through Minecraft. Our Minecraft programs will be facilitated through local community organizations as well as through individual registrations.  Once assigned to a group, the instructor will work with that group weekly until the completion of the program and will be categorized as an independent contractor. 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating a Jewish educational curriculum through the lens of Minecraft.
  • Overseeing a group of up to 8 participants and hosting weekly Zoom calls with them during the duration of the program. Minecraft Instructors will work closely with external coordinators to ensure the program is executed effectively.
  • Aid in the training of new counselors to help Lost Tribe scale this program to new communities.
  • Weekly check-ins and as needed discussion with your supervisor to provide updates on current groups.
  • Collaborating with Minecraft management staff to identify opportunities for process improvements, new communities to connect with, and to recommend system modifications.
  • Creating a positive Jewish environment 

Qualifications:

  • College-aged preferred, must be 17 or older
  • Students in Education, Jewish Studies, Psychology, or Communications preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Minecraft
  • Knowledge and expertise with Zoom and Google Meet
  • Enthusiastic and engaging with kids – work experience as a camp counselor a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of Jewish Culture, Values and Religion
